Basically USLEEP changed face data for vampire races and included NPC facegen files accordingly. Any mod that modifies any part of this is at risk of the black face bug.It is unclear how to avoid the bug. I asked Arthmoor and he said mods need to include facegen, but that doesn't seem to fix it. It may turn out that modifying any part of races or any NPC involved means having to reproduce all of USLEEP regarding races and NPCs, causing compatibility issues with other mods that touch any of this.I'm not sure how this is worth whatever USLEEP is trying to fix.
USLEEP works fine. It's downstream that the problems occur. Since USLEEP fixed whatever it wanted to fix by changing facegen, there is no problem for USLEEP, therefore no reason for it to back out the change.Note: I have no idea what is actually causing the issue. Arthmoor wanted me to add facegen but it didn't fix the bug and now I'm up a creek as far as Imperious is concerned. Also, I can't reproduce it, so maybe it is also NMM related or only occurs due to other mods reverting the facegen changes. I'm going to take down Imperious for SSE unless a fix emerges soon.
